"...a 19th Century blackpowder rifle I own. It is a 10 bore sporting rifle, made by Barnett in London in the 1850s or 1860s. The problem
is that I can't find any record of Barnett making sporting rifles. They were mostly a military contractor selling Enfield type muskets to
the British and American governments.
A while ago, while doing some preservation work on my rifle's stock, I found two names stamped in the bottom of the ramrod
channel which I hadn't noticed before. "S. Edge" and "W. Wetherly"..."
